You can tell, can't you?
The em dashes.
"It's not just X, it's Y."
Not everyone spots it. But you did.
I edit AI drafts into copy that sounds like a person wrote it. Because one did.
AI content has a voice, and it isn't yours
How many of these AI clichés are familiar to you?
The rule of three
Delivering efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in every sentence, whether or not all three are true.
The vocabulary
"As we navigate an evolving landscape, it's pivotal to delve into robust, actionable strategies that quietly leverage seamless solutions to elevate and streamline how your message lands." Twenty-seven words. Zero information.

The self-answering question
In today's fast-paced world...
And its cousins: the ever-evolving landscape, the digital age, the era of... you get the idea.
It's not just a warehouse. It's a competitive advantage.
Em dashes everywhere
Doing jobs that commas, full stops, and self-restraint used to do.
The switcheroo that AI reaches for in every third sentence.
AI drafts fast and it drafts competently. But competent-and-identical is the new invisible.

Send me your worst
Paste your most AI-sounding draft into the form. I'll review up to 100 words, no charge, no obligation.
What I actually do
AI can draft.
It can't judge.
AI states wrong things with total confidence. I check claims, statistics and product details against reality before a reader does it for you.
Accuracy first
Your voice
Every brand I edit for sounds different, because every brand is different. Writing in a brand voice is the core skill of what I do.
Structure and argument
Slop lists points. Good content makes a case. I rebuild drafts so they lead somewhere and give the reader a reason to keep going.
Cut the filler
Most AI drafts are a decent short piece trapped inside a long one. I let it out.

Why me
I'm Kate, a B2B content strategist based in Doncaster. I've spent 10+ years writing white papers, thought leadership, and campaign content for B2B brands.
I use AI to boost my productivity, so this isn't an anti-AI lecture. It's the view from someone who knows exactly when to put the tools down and pick the expertise up.
Less slop. More strategy.

Frequently asked questions
What is AI content editing?
AI content editing is the process of turning an AI-generated draft into content that is accurate, distinctive and written in your brand's voice. You bring a draft from ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot or similar; I check the facts, rebuild the argument and strip out the tells. You keep the speed of AI drafting and lose the sound of it.
Why does AI writing all sound the same?
AI writing sounds the same because the tools are trained on the same internet and rewarded for the same inoffensive fluency. Without strong editorial direction, they revert to one default voice, and your readers have now heard that voice thousands of times.
How do you make AI content sound more human?
Making AI content sound human takes more than swapping out banned words. It means checking claims against reality, adding specifics only your business knows, rebuilding the structure so it argues rather than lists, and matching the voice of a real person. That judgement is the service: send me anything you've published that sounds like you and I'll work to it.
Does Google penalise AI-generated content?
No, Google does not penalise content for being AI-generated. Google's guidance rewards helpful content, however it is produced. In practice, generic AI content performs badly not because it's AI but because it's generic. Editing for substance and originality is what fixes that.
Can AI detectors tell if content was written by AI?
Not reliably. AI detection tools produce false positives on human writing and miss lightly edited AI text, which is why the real test isn't a detector, it's your reader. If your audience can feel the template through the words, no clean detector score will save the piece.
Can you edit content a human wrote?
Yes. If a person wrote it and it still reads as if a robot did, the same editing process applies. It happens more than you'd think.
How long does AI content editing take?
Most pieces come back within a few days, depending on length and how much surgery is needed. Tell me your deadline and I'll tell you honestly whether I can hit it.
let's touch base let's talk properly
20 minutes, free, no sales pitch. You tell me what you need. I'll tell you honestly whether I can help.
No pitch slap or "circling back". Just a conversation with the person who actually does the work.
